My review of Azul Blue Diamond Ultra Peptide Eye Cream
By Carla Snuggs
One of the things that shows our age is the skin around our eyes. The skin around our eyes is delicate, which makes fine lines and puffiness more noticeable as we age. And while there’s nothing wrong with aging, the key is to age gracefully - to keep our skin as health as possible. One way that I keep the skin around my eyes healthy and moisturized is with Azul Blue Diamond Ultra Peptide Eye Cream. Before I get into my review, let’s talk about some eye care tips
According to Courtney Buhler, CEO & Founder of Lash Pro Academy, because the skin around your eyes is the thinnest of anywhere on your face, you need to pay special attention to how you care for it. Courtney suggests the following eye care tips and learn more about eye bags.
Cleanse your face twice a day with lukewarm water. If you use water that is too hot, it can be overly drying, so keep the temperature mild. Use a gentle cleanser that you can massage around the area to get rid of makeup and other impurities without over-drying it. Lightly pat your face dry and apply a gentle serum that can help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Next, an anti-aging moisturizer that is lightweight can give your under-eye area a smooth, soft feel while concealing the look of wrinkles. After your moisturizer is applied, use your ring finger to pat an eye cream to your under-eye area. For an extra boost to fight under eye bags, store your eye cream in the fridge. The cold can help temporarily decrease some of the puffiness under your eyes. At night, this would be the end of your routine. But during the day, it’s important to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect against sun damage, says Courtney.
According to VSP network eye doctors here is what causes under eye bags and how to treat them.
What Causes Under Eye Bags?
Bags are typically caused by aging, heredity and sleepy eyes.
As we age, the ligaments underneath our eyes that hold back fatty tissue begin to weaken, and the tissue can fall forward to form under eye bags.
Additionally, you could simply inherit the trait from a family member.
Lastly, our circulatory systems moves more slowly when we’re sleeping, leaving excess fluid beneath the eyes. A less-than-rested body can prevent your circulatory system from flushing out this extra fluid even after you have been awake for a while. If bags persist, it could mean you need more sleep.
How to Treat Under Eye Bags
Try a cold compress over the eyes. This will help to reduce swelling.
Brew two green tea bags and let them cool. Lay them across your eyes for about 10 minutes to promote circulation and reduce puffiness.
Elevate the head while sleeping, and let gravity do the work of preventing fluid buildup.
Avoid foods and beverages that encourage fluid retention such as alcohol, coffee, white sugar, fried foods, white flour, and salt. Also, keep the carbohydrates to a minimum.

My review/thoughts: When I think about what I’m looking for in an eye cream it’s a one that hydrates, brightens and tightens and Azul Skin Health Ultra Peptide Eye Cream ticks all of those boxes. I experience dark circles, a bit of hyperpigmentation and puffiness under the eye. I also have a tad bit of fine lines around the outer eye. This eye cream has significantly reduced these issues after only a few weeks of use and continues to work on those problem areas. Like every Azul product that I’ve tried, this eye cream has a smooth, lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into skin and leaves a non-greasy finish. It layers great under my concealer. I leave it in the fridge and then apply using the small side of Azul’s dual-sided jade roller, and it feels so soothing and really perks up my eyes! I highly recommend Ultra Peptide Eye Cream, because who doesn’t want a smooth under-eye that looks young, fresh, and nourished. Shop: Azulskinhealth.com
