Delicious green smoothie recipe with moringa superfood powder
By Carla Snuggs
Moringa may sound unfamiliar to many, but it has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties. Like other vitamins and supplements mentioned in nutrition and fitness guides, Moringa has various health benefits.
Antifungal, antiviral, antidepressant, and anti-inflammatory properties are some of the medicinal properties that have kept this tree relevant for centuries.
This herb is filled with proteins, vitamins, and minerals:
iron
magnesium
phosphorus
zinc
vitamin A
vitamin B1 (thiamine)
B2 (riboflavin)
B3 (niacin), B-6
folate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
calcium
potassium
As you know, I have been trying Miracle Tree’s moringa products. Their moringa superfood strawberry tea is so good and is my caffeine free favorite.
Miracle Tree is a family-owned brand that has 3 major product lines:
* Moringa Herbal Teas (award-winning and caffeine-free)
* Moringa Energy Teas (super-caffeinated coffee alternatives)
* Superfood Powders (great for smoothies and baked goods)
Their moringa is caffeine free, sugar free, non GMO and gluten free. It’s also certified organic from the rainforest of Sri Lanka.
I approve and recommend their 100% Organic Moringa Superfood Power. I’ve been drinking this smoothie a couple of times each week and want to share the recipe with you guys!
