By: Carla Snuggs
When seasons change, our makeup and skincare routine should also change to reflect the current season. We’re a few weeks into spring if you haven’t switched up your beauty routines, there’s still time. You don’t have to break the bank to freshen up your spring skincare or beauty regimen for spring. You’d be amazed at the very simple, inexpensive switches you can make.
Posh Beauty Blog asked celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist Mickey Williams for a few tips that will help us spruce up our spring looks inexpensively. Here are a spring beauty tips plus a few quick fixes for spring that can be found easily at your local drugstore.
Tip 1: Eyes are troublesome during allergy season. Williams says to make sure to sleep on your back with your head elevated so fluid doesn’t build up in your facial region.
Tip 2: Store a roller-ball in your freezer or fridge so it is nice and then cold and apply it to eyes in the morning for a quick beauty fix.
Tip 3: An all-in-one moisturizer is a great beauty tool for the Spring. Cetaphil makes an excellent oil-free SPF and moisturizer in one. You should apply every two hours when you’re outdoors. If looking for an all-in-one moisturizer with a tint, look no further than Ganier's BB Cream.
Tip 4: Use more fruit-inspired and lighter toned colors for a fresh spring approach. Williams tends to leave eyes less contoured and more shimmery and prefers peachy pink glosses for lips.
