So you're going to want to find a comfy chair in your home. Put a towel down at the bottom of the chair. That way, you're not going to get any water on the chair. It's good also to place a hand towel that way, and you can dry your feet when you take them out of your little tub.
Things you need
For a basic pedicure at home, you will need cotton, acetone remover, shampoo, nail cutter, cuticle pusher, nail polishes, pumice stone, nail filer, foot buffers, brush, nail buffer, Epsom salt, scrubs and moisturizing lotion.
Prepare your feet
Remove pre-existing nail polish on your feet, use cotton and acetone remover, remove it thoroughly so that even the nail polish stuck near the cuticles is not visible.
Soak your feet
Soak your feet in warm water in the tub. With hot water and salts or oil, ten minutes of it will soften hardened skin and very quickly help remove dirt and clean grime, which may have built up.
Cut and file your Nails
Cut and file your nails, avoid trimming your nails in a rounded shape, as this can promote in rotten toenails. Try filing your nails in the same direction to prevent splitting the layers and damaging nails
Prepare Cuticles
Use the cuticle stick to gently push back the cuticles around each nail. Rub nails little cuticle oil, and then you're finished. Also, use cuticle trimmers if you have them at home.
Clean your Feet
Clean up and soften the skin, use pumice stone thoroughly on your full feet to scrape out the dead skin.
Buff and file Nails
Smooth out the top of your nails, use a buffing pad to file down the ridges.
Rinse Feet and message
Use brush in between toes and all over the bridge of your foot, add soap if you want to add an extra bit. Avoid using the cheap type of tools as they can be dangerous and can cause fungal. Be sure to rinse off your feet after scrubbing. Remove your feet from soaking tub, dry and massage lotion into the skin.
Apply Nail Polish
Add a base coat to your nails. It prevents yellowing nails as well as gives the Polish a solid base to stick too. Apply the colour of your choice, start from the center in long strokes, and take it to the end. You can apply two coats if you require them. In the end, add a transparent layer on the top; it will help the colour last longer.
That's it: - With a little bit of time and a little bit of effort you can have perfectly smooth feet, and polished nails, follow these rituals and enjoy a Pedicure at Home,
