False lashes can be worn up to 20 times, depending on the quality of them and the care you give. Those babies can cost you a lot of dollar so why not get the most out of them? Believe it or not, I've worn the same lashes 20 times, yes! A whole 20 times and they're only just giving in.
Care and quality are both factors that affect how many wears you'll get. I've seen falsies that have gotten completely ruined from a botched clean job from people that don't know how to clean their lashes. Imagine, you get those beauties out of their tray wear them for one night and they get completely destroyed. After just 1 wear, I'd be devastated and I'm sure you would too!
For those like me, regular lash wearers, you'll find wearing lashes is a pretty expensive habit. Personally, I go for quality lashes over cheap lashes. You'll find quality lashes, although being more expensive are actually cost-effective. The 20 wears is easily achievable with a good pair of false lashes. Whereas, a cheap skimpy pair you'll dispose of after maybe a couple uses, add up the cost and there you have it, quality lashes are more cost-effective.
Your lashes are delicate hun! Handle them with care, in this guide we will step by step walk you through the cleaning process and get you wearing those falsies up to 20 times.
Steps
Remove the glue residue on the lash band, we recommend using tweezers because falsies are delicate.
Soak 2 cotton pads in oil-free makeup remover, place the lash you want to clean in between forming a sort of lash sandwich. (Do 1 at a time).
Apply some pressure to the cotton pad, not a whole lot you don't want to damage your babies. Do this for 30-40 seconds to ensure your lashes are soaked.
Soak a cotton bud with oil-free makeup remover and gently remove any mascara from the lash.
With the other end of the cotton bud wipe the lashes again ensuring all residue is removed.
Repeat steps 4-5 as many times needed until no residue is left on the lash. Remember the lashes are delicate, and to gently wipe away the mascara.
Place the lashes in the lash tray and box and keep them looking brand new ready for their next use. They will retain the curve you see in the band by doing this.
Follow these steps and keep your Lashes On Fleek.
