Pretty in Pink Makeup Tutorial by Mia Crivaro
Step 1: Eye primer is important! It not only keeps your eye shadow on all night, it also helps make the color pop! Apply it all over your lid and rub it upward toward your eyebrow. I used Lets Skate from MAC cosmetics.
Step 2: Contouring your eye makes them sexy and big. Apply a dark shade in a triangle shape from the middle of your eyelid to the outer corner. You always want to apply the darker color first, it makes it easier to blend with the other shades you use for your look. I used Urban Decay's Black Heart.
Step 3. You can use one or two shades for your shadow color. Apply your lighter shade to the inner corner of your eye and swipe back into the dark shade. If you have a third shade, apply that to the middle of the two colors and blend back and forth. For your middle color, remember to use a color that is lighter than the dark shade you used but darker then the lighter shade you used and make sure they are blend-able shades. Use a fluffy brush to blend together. The more you blend the less dramatic the look. I used Swish from MAC Cosmetics.
Step 4. You can also use a highlight to enhance your eye shadow color and make your eyes pop. Take your highlight color and apply in the center of the two shadows and/or on top of the middle shade and softly blend in keeping low on your lid near the lash line. I used Strange from Urban Decay.
Step 5. Then apply your mascara and liner. And fill in your eyebrows. I love gel liner, it's easy to apply and it never smudges and is water proof, which is great for my Brides! I used (and Love!) Maybelline gel liner Black and Black Telescopic mascara from Loreal and a little matte brown eye shadow for my brows.
Step 6. Clean up around your under eyes with some make-up remover wipes and then apply a face primer, followed by your foundation and Powder and concealer. I used NYX primer Shine Killer & Pore Filler mixed together along with NYX HD Studio Photogenic powder & Foundation and NYX Full Coverage Concealer.
Step 7. I love a nice pink Cheek. And it's perfect for this look. You want to sweep the color from the apples of your cheeks back to your hair line. I used English Rose from NYX HD blush.
Step 8. To enhance your cheeks in a soft way, use Candlelight from Too Faced. Sweep it between the cheek color and under eyes. It gives this angelic glow!
Step 9. Have some Kissable lips that won’t rub off!! I applied a lip stain and topped it with an eyeshadow. It's awesome and that color stays and won't rub off throughout every smooch! I used Maybelline 24hr Super Stay Very Cranberry and Urban Decay Dust.
Step 10. To finish the look do Not forget the best make-up setting spray Ever, urban Decay's Chill. It keeps your face from melting away, fading, getting caked or dry! I use it with all of my Bridal Parties and My brides rave about my make-up lasting until they wake up the next Day and wash it off! A Must Have!
Have fun!
