Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure which removes excess tissue from the labia, making it smaller for either cosmetic or hygienic reasons. What to Expect

Aftercare and Recovery
In most cases of labiaplasty, you will be allowed to return home on the same day as the procedure and there will be no need to keep you in the clinic or hospital overnight. Dissolvable stitches are most often used, meaning that there will be no need to return to have stitches taken out. You will be given painkillers, as some pain and discomfort can be expected for the first few days after the procedure. For approximately six weeks, it’s important to refrain from sexual intercourse and using tampons in order to allow the area to heal.
