If you have been following me on social media and reading my wellness blog posts, you know that I think self-care is a huge part of overall health and well-being. I make it a priority to take self-care days. I've have been unplugging and doing activities like taking an herbal shower, applying face and hair masks, exfoliating from head to toe, reading, and listening to relaxing music. Meditation and yoga have been a big part of my new self-care routine. So, I am so excited to tell you about Wanderlust Hollywood and the WHY MEDITATE Conference.
Join Wanderlust and 12 of the most influential leaders of the meditation community for an immersion into the science, techniques, benefits and practical application of meditation. “WHY MEDITATE?” a day-long conference hosted by Wanderlust Hollywood will feature principal voices in the world of meditation including top instructors, scientists, inspiring athletes and social entrepreneurs. “WHY MEDITATE?” will demystify meditation and give attendees actionable information — techniques and practices that they can apply to their own life to cultivate their best selves.
The conference will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12pm - 9pm. It will feature a day packed with 15 seminars, lectures, break-out workshops, and led meditations which explore the union of meditation's ancient wisdom and modern science.
