Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation

Review of  Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation
By Carla Snuggs

Finding a great foundation has always been a challenge for me. I have a skin tone that is difficult to match and I’ve found that many, many foundations for darker skin leave them looking grey and ashy. I was sent a few shades of Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation to try and was surprised to find it makes my skin look incredibly healthy, bright and vibrant!

Oxygenetix is a breathable foundation actually heals while it conceals and allows the skin to breathe. It’s perfect for everyday but it’s also great for those who have post-procedure skincare issues. So, if you have had some laser work, surgical scars and even third-degree burns, it’s safe to use Oxygenetix to look flawless as you heal.

^^Me above wearing only Oxygenetix and lipstick. I use 2 shades of Oxygenetix: Chakra and Ebony. I use Chakra as a concealer, and combine the Chakra and the Ebony for my perfect shade. By the end of summer, as I get darker, I will use Ebony alone and in the winter, I’ll use Chakra alone.

Why I love it:

  • Oxygenetix comes in a variety of shades that you can select based on your skin’s undertone. You can layer the foundation to get the amount of coverage you’d like.
  • It’s long lasting – I never have to reapply Oxygenetix until late into the evening if at all. Even in the highest temps and humidity (I tested this in the extra-humid Maritimes) it doesn’t smudge, even when you sweat. It also doesn’t stain your clothing, which is a big plus. Oxygenetix is even water-resistant.
  • Oxygenetix contains 25 SPF for UVA/UVB protection.
  • It’s great for your skin; it won’t clog your pores. Oxygenetix is oil-free, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, so you can use it even if you have sensitive skin
