Earth Day Shopping Guide 2023

Eco-Friendly products for Earth Day
By Carla Snuggs

Every April, we are reminded about how we can make great lifestyle choices in honor of Earth Day. It’s really important to search for products with natural elements as well as beauty and wellness products that support our environment. Here some of my favorite Earth Day products!

Për Në

Për Në, which translates to “for us” in Albanian, is a Los Angeles based clean beauty brand focused on combining the remedies of ancient practices with modern science to create timeless, performance-based skincare.

·         Sustainability lies at the core of the Për Në mission and the brand is dedicated to finding responsible and ethical producers, always opting for organic farms when possible.

·         Për Në uses only natural ingredients in formulations, with a focus on harnessing the power of Balkan botanicals to improve the natural health of skin.

·         Për Në believes in a “less is more” approach and has designed packaging and shipping boxes without excess materials, using glass bottles and recyclable paper - meaning everything that comes with the products can be reused or recycled.

Hadobody

Hadobody understands this and focuses its design and ethos around these practices. Ethically made, chakra-infused clothing using sustainable fabrics elevates the mind, body, and spirit.

Mindful Tee - Hematite Grey - I AM DIVINE ($110) - Enjoy this super-soft perfect tee featuring a classic comfy crew neck and side slits. It’s lightweight and breathable for perpetual peace of mind. Hematite’s essence is to bring us back to equilibrium due to its magnetic nature and our yin-yang energies.

Duke V-Neck Tee - Smokey Quartz ($100) - Made with buttery soft Micro Modal, this perfectly cut v-neck tee will quickly become the go-to t-shirt in your closet. In a rich gray color, it can be worn with your favorite jeans or tied for a more flirty fun look. Smokey Quartz connects us to Mother Earth and removes negative energies from our bodies.

Duck Pond Wines

Duck Pond wines embody and reflect a steadfast commitment to farming sustainably and organically. Their vision is to produce quality wines that express Oregon's purest, most natural form, just as mother nature intended. In 2020, Duck Pond produced the first ever Natural Path Production Wines, Certified by the Clean Label Project. Duck Pond embarked on this process to further their mission in leaving the world a better place than we found it and fulfilling a promise to their customers, to provide the highest quality wines, with minimal intervention at the best value. Other wine labels have been hesitant to strive for this certification because of the time and effort required to achieve it. But Duck Pond was committed to the task and is currently the only label with this prestigious certification. Duck Pond, known especially for its Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, is free of harmful glyphosate and neonicotinoid pesticides. The company closely oversees the growing of all of its grapes to make sure nothing but good-for-you and great-tasting ingredients go into each bottle. The line offers everything: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Rose, Chardonnay and more. (Range starts at $14.99).
